This Dan Maples design opened in 1997. Since then, it has gained a quite a good reputation among the local golfing population. The course is the centerpiece of the town of South Riding in Loudoun County, Virginia and offers a sturdy test for all skill levels. The greens are a highlight at South Riding. They are typically fast and well conditioned. The course is also heavily populated with many Maples “signature bunkers.” The course is very well conditioned and recent improvements to the clubhouse and practice area make for quite the impression.
