Professionally Fit Clubs v. Off the Rack - I would take a club that has been professionally fit to my swing over a club off the rack any day. Now I agree that all of the clubs are equally well designed and manufactured. But the clubs a Professional's bags are about the same as the Chevy in a NASCAR race compared to one on the showroom floor.

Just look at the driver lofts. You need a swing speed of 105 mph to even take advantage of the lofts they use on their drivers. And with the average male golfer having a swing speed of 87 miles an hour. It would take a pretty serious positive angle of attack Phil's 7.5 degree driver to work for the average golfer.

The name of the magazine is Pro's and Hackers. I see lots of information on the pros...what about the hackers?

Man, these are some stellar courses and surely they could've added a few more.
Best of all, a handul are within an hour's drive of the beltway. Sweet.
Has aanyone out there made the trip to Snowshoe and played The Raaven. I hear it's spectacular? And worth the drive to get out of the heat/humidity of DC's swealtering summer heat.

Kelly is doing a great job out there. We're fortunate to have a man, right in the middle of this great national golf story. Erik finished up his round with two pars. He shot 69. He's playing his second round right now as we speak and he's doing well. Looks like Mr. Murray might be carrying the bag on the weekend, too. Congrats guys.

The Donald sure has high hopes for Lowes. He was quouted saying something like he is going to make it the best course in the country. He also said Congressional does not stand a chance to hosting Tiger Woods event - meaning after he is done with this new Trump National Washington DC, that the tourney will be held there. You got to love how confident he is. Maybe Donald does not realize the history of Congressional Country Club or the fact that it is a US OPEN venue. Get-R-Done Donald or else...Your Fired!
