The second round is complete at the AT&T National Hosted by Tiger Woods. After an interesting day of golf that saw overnight leader, Anthony Kim follow up his course record 62 with a average round of 70, the defending champion will now go into the weekend two down. Tiger Woods shot a nice round of 4-under-par 66 to set the 36-hole scoring record at the AT&T National.
Kim was bogey free during round one, but that was hardly the case on Friday. After driving his ball wildly left at the par-5 9th, he settled with bogey, then back that up with bogeys on the 11th and 14th, before getting one back at the par-5 16th. He was unable to find the final pairing with Woods, that distinction will belong to Australian Rod Pampling. Pampling shot the round of the day, a 6-under, 64, to move to 9-under-par. He will face the onslaught of Tiger Woods and his loyal gallery on Saturday.
U.S. Open Champion Lucas Glover shot a tidy 30 on the front nine, yet backed that up with a 1-over 36 on the back. He stands at 5-under par for the tournament, but within weekend striking distance.
