Only Your Ball, Will have a View this Close to the Green
Well you can make your own opinion on that question after you watch the video. However, this 1,400 ft. elevated tee and green that sits 630 yards away plays as a par-3 (19th hole no doubt), and is the only one in the world that requires a helicopter ride to get to the tee box. The green is shaped like the continent of Africa and god forbid that you land one directly on there, I can only imagine what type of ball mark you would make. It would take a shovel to repair it.
The course is in South Africa and is called Legends Golf and Safari Resort. Features 18 different designers including Padraig Harrington (seen in the video) Retief Goosen, Vijay Singh, Colin Montgomerie and KJ Choi. The 19th Hole is dubbed the Xtreme 19th. A hole in one wins you $1 Million, and you can either add the hole on to your round, a la carte, or just pay to play that hole individually. Remember you get a helicopter ride and a great photo opportunity.
